Barenbrug appoints Heidi Janssens as New Group CFO

Nijmegen: March 26, 2025 – Barenbrug is pleased to announce the appointment of Drs. Heidi Janssens as its new Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Heidi Janssens brings a wealth of expertise in global supporting functions , such as finance, ERP, ICT, HR, and sustainability. She began her career at Unilever and Stork in Belgium and Netherlands  and has since held key financial interim leadership positions at Philips, and other multinational and family owned companies. Most recently, she served several years  as CFO of BRB International, a subsidiary of the global Petronas Group. 

Born and raised in Belgium, Heidi has been living in the Netherlands for over 20 years. Her extensive experience and strategic financial acumen make her an invaluable addition to Barenbrug as we continue to drive growth and innovation.

Heidi Janssens takes over the CFO position from Marjolein Willeboordse who has decided to leave the company from 1 April 2025 to pursue new career opportunities.  During her term, she has played a pivotal role in professionalizing the organization, strengthening the IT and Finance teams, improving financial reporting and driving cash flow management as well as managing our ERP implementation process. 

The overlapping weeks in March were used to ensure a proper transition between Heidi and Marjolein.
